What is definitely not part of the plan is the return of her long-lost father, who claims he can bring Allison's mother back from the dark place her mind has gone. Secrets will eventually surface. And Allison must learn to set aside her plan and work with her father if there is even a small chance it could restore her mother's sanity.

About Laura Howard

Laura Howard lives in New Hampshire with her husband and four children. Her obsession with books began at the age of 6 when she got her first library card. Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and other girly novels were routinely devoured in single sittings. Books took a backseat to diapers when she had her first child. It wasn’t until the release of a little novel called Twilight, 8 years later, that she rediscovered her love of fiction. Soon after, her own characters began to make themselves known. The Forgotten Ones is her first published novel.

"Suppose you are both telling the truth, magic exists, and you both are part of a prophecy. Where do I fall in all of this? Why are you both here in my life?" ~Maggie

Maggie Sanders suffered an injury while at war in Afghanistan, one that left her honorably discharged from the army. Now she is home in Washington D.C. running her mothers used bookstore. While working she accidently cuts her hand on a broken edge of her glass counter. Se watches as blood spills from her hand on to a book she was just reading and unknowingly summons King Arthur Pendragon. THE King Arthur.

Legend states when the King Arthur is needed most he will return. What if the legends are wrong?

Arthur has been trapped on Avalon( a mythical island) with his men, his wife Gwen and Lancelot. Unbeknownst to the others Arthur has a portal and from time to time has been summoned randomly to people who need assistance. The last time he was summoned he barely escaped with his life. Nevertheless he can’t help but wonder will he will be going this time.

‘His excitement swirled with a hint of dread. Where would he go this time, and who would he have to kill?’

Maggie thinks she is having heart attack when she is knocked off her feet on to the floor. After getting back on her feet she suddenly comes to realize that a man is under the ruble. A NAKED man.
Arthur does not sense any trouble coming Maggie’s way so he asks her point blank
"My lady, why am I here?"

Unfortunately she can’t answer him. She has no clue why or how he is even there. Slowly she comes to realize there is more to the naked man who magically appeared in her bookstore. And that may be just maybe he is who he claims to be Arthur Pendragon. As he and Maggie start to build a friendship other familiar characters surface. Both Merlyn and Arthur work to find a way to free the others from Avalon while a friend turned enemy plans to fight Arthur for the woman he loves.

My Thoughts
This was a quick fun take on a legend who is familiar to us all. We get a broken hearted Arthur who is still clearly upset about the betrayal of his wife Gwen and Lancelot getting together. This is written in a fantasy manner and sort of reminded me of the movie Enchanted were classic characters cross over in to the real world. Of course this had a bit more of a sexy edge to it with a couple sex scenes that will leave you squirming in your seat. Overall I enjoyed it!

My Ratings
Characters- Sweet
Writing Style- Good
Plot/Storyline- Light and Fun with classical characters brought to life
Steam Factor- Medium//Moderately Steamy
Overall- I liked it!!!

Now go forth and read. Then come tell us about it!

Giveaway, Review & Tour: No Attachments by Tiffany King

3 1/2 Hearts

Ashton Garrison took off from home and her life of comfort to live in the small town of Woodfalls. She is enjoying working in the town store, making new friends, and enjoying the simple things. All the while, she’s marking items off her list – things she wants to do in her life. One of those things is to have a one-night stand, something hard to do in such a small town, that is until Nathan Lockton comes into the picture, giving her the perfect opportunity.

“Finding a perfect candidate for a one-night stand was slim to none in a town the size of Woodfalls. Strangers are far and few between. Couple that with the fact that he was drop-dead gorgeous and his sudden appearance was like a gift from god.”

Ashton is a really awesome girl; she is a bit of a dork, which made her all the more likable in my eyes. She doesn’t always say the exact right thing and her fumbling and sass was really endearing. This made for a funny first meeting with Nathan. Their interactions in the first scene are hilarious and it is probably one of the most random conversations ever. But I loved every word of it!

What seems like a chance meeting in Ashton’s eyes is really anything but. Nathan has been hired to locate her and give her location to his client (this is something you find out immediately since it’s in dual POV). Once Nathan meets her, she intrigues him. The two of them work out a casual “no attachments” type agreement and decide to have some fun.

“One thing was clear: Ashton was nothing like I expected. How was I going to get her out of my system when everything about her seemed to pull me in?”

“Sure, I liked him, but he was still just an item on my list. I had to stick to our deal, and as long as he could keep his work, we could have our fun and then go our separate ways.”

As the story progresses more details about both their pasts come to light and it makes you question by Ashton left her home in the first place. Nathan wants to find that out and who hired him? There is some mystery there, but I felt like I figured it out pretty early on.

There is potential for lots of feelings and I could see some people getting emotional while reading this story. I would have loved to have been a bit more invested in the characters, but unfortunately it never hit me. I noticed a few things that were really reminiscent of a certain Nicholas Sparks book I’ve read in the past, but it still was very much a different story. This was a cute book and I will definitely be reading more of Tiffany Kind in the future. I haven’t been disappointed so far! :)

Ashton Garrison walked away from a privileged life in order to hide from the one thing she's not willing to face. She knows she left behind a trail of pain, but in the long run, her betrayal will hurt less than the truth. She now has one goal: Live life to the fullest with no regrets and no attachments. She has high hopes that a move to new surroundings will provide the escape she desires, but what Ashton doesn't count on is how fate always seems to find a way to screw up any good plan. Sometimes, when love comes knocking, the pull is too strong not to answer. Suddenly, what she thought she wanted to escape from is what Ashton now wants more than anything.

Nathan Lockton has one mission: find his target and complete the task he was hired to do—no attachments and noemotion necessary. He's done it over and over again. What he thought was a typical lost-and-found job has turned into a life examining moment as Nathan is forced to deal with something he has always ignored--his feelings. Now faced with a decision, Nathan must choose to either follow his heart or complete the job.

Love can come when you least expect it. The question is: If the odds are stacked against you, how far are you willing to go for the one you love?

Laura Drake is an author. She writes bestselling paranormal romances that continue to top the charts. She is sharp. She is confident. She is in control. And she doesn’t exist.

Samantha Jansen is the woman behind the wig, the woman most of the world doesn’t know exists. She is shy. She is insecure. She is nothing like her main character or her alter ego. She is scarred—deeply scarred—by a past she can’t let go of and a present she can’t make peace with. Samantha’s dreams are consumed by one man, the broken hero from her books.

Mason Strait is both her wildest fantasy and her most terrifying nightmare.

When Samantha meets Alec Brand, a corporate consultant, it is as though Mason has come to life. Alec is handsome to a fault, as elegant as he is arrogant, and more intense than any man has a right to be. Samantha is soon sucked into a world that mirrors the fiction she writes. Just like her main character, Daire Kirby, Samantha finds herself unable to resist the forbidden lure of Alec. And just like Daire, she also finds that she is faced with taking a chance on a man who could either set her free or destroy her. The scale tilts toward destruction when Samantha finds out that Alec is as much a work of fiction as Mason. And he has scars of his own, scars that could ruin them both.

Giveaway, Review & Tour: The Girl in 6E by Allessandra Torre

I screw men for money. Not literally, think phone sex operator with a 15 megapixel web cam thrown in. They tell me their deepest, darkest fantasies while paying me $6.99 a minute.

What would possess me to engage in such a business? Throw in a tortured past, 24/7 murderous thoughts, and a desire to keep the innocent people of my small town safe.

I was contained, out of the way, sexcamming my way to utter obscurity until HE came along. A twisted client armed with a target's name. Annie. And in that name, everything changed.

**ARC provided for honest review**

3.5 Hearts

This book is...different. So different in fact, I am not quite sure how I feel about it. At one point I kind of felt like I was reading a book version of Dexter (TV show from Showtime). But DeAnna..or Jessica, whatever the hell her name is, doesn't fit the "killer" mold quite like he does.

The Girl in 6E flips back and forth from different POV's through out the book. At first it is a bit confusing. There really is no rhyme or reason in the beginning why all these characters play a role in the story. But as you read more, things start to click.

I found it intriguing how all the pieces slowly began to fit together. I also thought the look inside the life of a cam girl and her clientele was interesting. Some of the fetishes men have are just...um...WOW! And who knew you could order everything you could ever need to live, without stepping outside of your apartment, all online?!

This is definitely one of those books that you should give a chance if you are looking for something...different.

There is the word again! But honestly I can think of no other way to describe it. And I can't really tell you too much because it would give things away. I will say, the reason for the 3.5 hearts is due to the ending. I just felt it was a bit rushed. I would have liked more of a look into the future. Overall, it is a good read though.

Giveway Win a Kindle Fire! Straddling the Edge by Julie Prestsater

Summer McGallian … the scandalous home wrecker from Against the Wall and Between The Sheets. The one who stole her co-worker’s fiancĂ©, the other woman, the one people whisper about and stay away from. Only for Summer, things aren't always as they appear and she knows that better than anyone. She hasn’t been herself since she was in high school, when life was less complicated and relationships weren’t about making compromises to land the guy. When her heart is broken, there's only one thing left for her to do … prove she isn't who everyone thinks she is. And maybe, just maybe, she can get back to being comfortable in her own skin again, without input from a man. But when she encounters Sexy Guy, Dean Michaels, everything Summer has ever known about the opposite sex is about to change.
Dean Michaels knew he’d seen her somewhere before. What he never imagined was that the gorgeous woman in a baseball cap and hooded sweatshirt tossing back a beer in his favorite spot could be Summer McGallian—the woman who always looked like she’d stepped off the pages of a glamour magazine when he’d seen her from afar at work. And to make matters worse, she’s Chase Marino’s ex, the one guy who gets under his skin like no other. If the thought of being someone’s bitch in jail wasn’t enough to scare him, he would’ve strangled that bastard years ago and tossed the body in the Mojave Desert. But forget about Chase … Dean knew from the moment he saw Summer’s sexy smile and heard her cute laugh, she had to be his. And he won't let anything get in the way of that.
The Against The Wall series isn’t just about steamy sex scenes and swoon-worthy romance, but about new friendships, undying love, and a ton of laughter. Enjoy the ride as you get to know and love Summer and Dean, just as you did Shelly and Matt, and Melissa and Tyler, in the final book, Straddling The Edge.
