Review & Tour: Rock With Me by Kristen Proby

Front Man Leo Nash from the world-famous rock band, Nash, is the last person on earth Samantha Williams would trust. She's already learned about loving a celebrity the hard way and isn't signing up for another lesson.

Every time Sam gives Leo attitude, he wants to knock that chip off her fragile little shoulder. What the hell did he ever do to her, anyway? He's not used to women treating him like he's poisonous, and he isn't about to let her run away every time he gets close. He's had enough of people running away to last him a lifetime...when this one runs, he gives chase. But, catching Sam isn't as hard as he thought.

The sexual attraction between them is so thick, Sam can practically hold it in her hand. There's no way she can deny herself the promise of pleasure being with Leo would provide. But, pleasure always comes with pain and when secrets are revealed and trust is challenged, who will run and who will chase?

***WARNING: This book contains mature content and sexual situations.***

I am in utter awe of the way Kristen Proby writes. The flow is outstanding.  Her characters suck you in, pull on all your emotional heartstrings and let’s face it have great sex.

You must read all of these!  I say this because they are all wonderful books and each book gives you another layer to suck you into Seattle.

Come Away With Me (With Me in Seattle #1)
Fight With Me (With Me in Seattle #2)
Play With Me (With Me in Seattle #3)
Rock With Me (With Me in Seattle #4)

Rock With Me is Leo’s story.  We first met him in Play With Me when he sang at Luke and Nat’s wedding.

Now, I’m gonna be really frank with you; I didn’t like Leo in that book.  Why you ask?  Well, it was hard for me to see him as a protector and ‘brother’ when he pushed away the only sister he ever had and left her.

That just screamed asshole to me.

Now that I have read Rock With Me, I do understand his thought processes better and will cut him some slack. I may not agree with it, but he did redeem himself in my eyes.

First, LEO!  Oh. My. God. I want to lick his freaking stars!

Rock-god Leo Nash told us in Play with Me that he would never settle with a woman.  In RWM, he jumps in full throttle in getting what he wants.  And what he wants is Samantha, the Montgomery’s sister.

What starts off as playful banter, quickly develops into much more.

I really did expect Leo to put up a bigger fight or have some internal struggle in being with Sam because of his comments in PWM, but that doesn’t happen. He is fully enthralled with Sam and wants her for his own.

Sam is very strong and independent.  One will never confuse her for a weakling that gets walked all over. She is anything but.

Her tough shell proved challenging for Leo to break through.  There were ups and down—well an awesomely written roller-coaster ride of emotions for their journey.

I totally adored Sam.

Bottom line, this is a must read book and a must read series.  I love the family dynamic and friendship between all of the characters.  It leaves me always wanting more.  If you have not read these yet, you need to ASAP.
