Blog Tour Review & Giveaway: FOR REAL by Chelsea M. Cameron

For Real

Two people. One fake relationship. What could go wrong?
When virgin Shannon Travers gets fed up with her friends demanding that she find a boyfriend, she enlists the help of tattooed, mohawk-rocking graphic design student Jett. He’s more than happy to play along with their Fake Relationship, including the Ten Rules of Fake Dating that control-freak Shannon comes up with. Even if he likes to violate them. Repeatedly.
But what happens when Fake Dating starts to feel… not fake anymore? Will Shannon be willing to let go and embrace the first thing in her life that’s ever felt REAL?
This relationship might be Fake but the butterflies feel pretty real - Shannon
Shannon is sitting in a coffee shop one day doing some study and a guy asks her to keep an eye on his laptop while he pops outside.  She calls him 'laptop guy.'  He's got a few piercings and some serious tattoos but he is kinda cute.
Shannon is still single and a virgin.  Her friends are determined to cure her of her virginity and set out most weekends to find the guy she should give it up to.  They take her out as per usual one night and every guy they send her way she turns down.  Frustrated with her, they take her phone off her and then tell her they are not taking her home, she needs to find a guy and leave with him.  She tearfully walks out into the parking lot and there is 'laptop guy'.  He offers to give her a ride home but they end up spending time together hanging out.  She finds out his name is Jett.
Shannon lies to her friends and tells them she had sex with him .  She then confesses this to Jett and he admits telling his flatmate the same thing as he often hassles him for not dating.  They come up with the idea of being each others 'Fake Girlfriend/Boyfriend' and even have a set of rules.  'Jett & Shannon's Ten Rules of Fake Dating.'
"How about we just... keep up the charade?  Pretend to date." - Shannon
They agree to a one month fake relationship and then they will fake break up.  Some of these rules include kissing and being lovey dovey in public to make it look real.  It isn't long before the 'fake' begins to feel more 'real'.
Will they be able to keep their fake relationship a secret and what happens if their friends figure out they are faking it? When their feelings for each other begin to feel more 'real' than 'fake' will they break their rules and give in to what they really feel?
I really enjoyed this story, their relationship built slowly and was very realistic.  They were a damn cute couple too.
