Review & Giveaway::Night Owl by M. Pierce

Night Owl (The Night Owl Trilogy, Book #1)
By: M. Pierce

Love is unstoppable...

At twenty-eight, Matt Sky has the perfect life. He has a beautiful girlfriend, a massive inheritance, and four national bestsellers -- all penned under his airtight alias, M. Pierce.

At twenty-seven, Hannah Catalano has a train wreck. Her boyfriend is a deadbeat and her job is abysmal.

Matt and Hannah meet online as writing partners. Their relationship is safe, anonymous, and innocent...

Until Matt sees a picture of Hannah.

Hannah's picture sparks an attraction Matt is powerless to ignore. When circumstance brings Matt and Hannah together, the strangers begin a love story that's passionate, poignant, unforgettable, and unstoppable.

This book begins on a very steamy note. Matt and Hannah are writing partners who have agreed to write together via chat only, with no pictures or personal info exchanged. But one night, things go a little too far. An innocent chat online veers away from talks of the book they are working on, to something....more interesting.

And let's just say things pick up from there. Matt is DEFINITELY an alpha male. He likes to be in control of all situations. He is also a recluse and not very friendly. But Hannah is attracted regardless and feels something for her standoffish writing partner. But he has a girlfriend and she a boyfriend.

And while this book has an extremely high steam factor (like through the roof HOT!), that is not all that it is about.

Matt is such a deeply dark and complex character that naturally he is going to have some demons he has and is still fighting. As well as some serious skeletons in his closet. At the point of the climax in the story, I was shocked. It literally changed the entire feel of the book. That was the point where the story became something more, deeper and you clearly see this is not meant to be just an erotic novel.

It is because of books like THIS that I love to read. When a writer's words have the power to grab you from page one. Where you become so wrapped up in the characters that you forgot about everything around you. I have no clue who M. Pierce is, if they are a he or a she, if like the character in the book this persona is fake, but I do know I am in complete love with their story telling ability! M. Pirece, whoever you are, you have won me over!

I highly recommend this book! But be warned, once you start you will not be able to stop! And since I have been asked, I will say that had I not read the epilogue, there is no cliffhanger type ending. But since I DID read it, I will tell you it will definitely leave you wanting more! Regardless of the ending, I say read it now! And for those that follow my reviews, you know how I feel about cliffy's so that tells you how much I love this book!
